As is our custom, we took the kids to the cemetery to put flowers on their Grandpa and Grandma Dempsey's graves. This year, there was a flag for his service in WWII.

There were people sitting in front of the bush where I always take pictures of the kids, so we had to use an alternate location.
We went to a park for a picnic lunch
The kids and I went to the local lake to swim later in the day after Dan had gone to bed. I don't think we've ever gone swimming this early in the year, but with it being in the 90's this past week, it was plenty warm enough!

Be together as a family on Memorial day remember lost love ones and being thankful for The ones that are still fighting for us and keeping them in our prayers is the only way to celebrate the Holiday. God Bless Everyone!
