Book Review: "Lainey Sparks" by Laura J. Marshall

Lainey Sparks is the lead singer/songwriter for the Christian band Depth.  Lately, she's been questioning exactly why she does what she does and if there is something else she should be doing.   Then Nick DeAngelo walks into the room with his friend on a backstage pass.  They form an instant attachment, but isn't it too early for it to be love?

I really enjoyed reading "Lainey Sparks" by Laura J. Marshall.  I found the characters believable and real.  You feel like they are your friends and you want the best for them.  The story switches from following Nick (in the 3rd person) to Lainey's perspective (in 1st person).  I found it somewhat different that the book was written this way since I'd never seen a book that switched like that.  I've had them switch from one person to another, but always written in the same "view" (both 1st person, or both 3rd person).   This is a Christian book so they talk about God and His will for their lives and going to church.  There is kissing and hand holding, but nothing further.
