I "heart" patches ♥

Emily had a pair of lined jeans that had holes in the knees.  On regular jeans, I would have just cut them off for shorts, but since they were lined, that wouldn't work.  So I decided to put decorative patches on the knees.

I cut heart shapes for the patches

Pinned under 1/4"

Since it was stretch terry, I sewed it onto paper

It tears right off

Then just remove the center piece

ta da

I pinned them on over the holes

and hand sewed them on

All finished
