Potatoes

Emily and I dug up the potatoes and we got about 15 pounds of them!

This is one of the larger of the potatoes, but they came in all sorts of sizes!

Here is the garden now. The vine plants (watermelon, pumpkin, cantalope, and cucumber) are all dying. The sunflowers are propped up because a rainstorm knocked them down.

Wow, that's impressive! I've never tried growing potatoes. You've had a good gardening season, huh?

The extent of my "gardening" this summer is buying a pretty good-sized basil plant for $2.99 (!!) a few weeks ago. SO nice to have fresh basil in the house to cook with! (I can't put it outside now, because the Arizona heat & sun will *fry* it!!)

So, I'm impressed by your real gardening efforts. It's fun to see the photos. :)
