Jango Fett Amigurumi

Once I got the pattern figured out by doing the Princess Leia, I made the Jango Fett that my son had requested. I decided take a picture of him after each step/new thing added. I was originally going to add all his armor after he was done, but ended up doing the cod piece and leg/arm armor as I went.

Princess Leia Amigurumi

After I made the R2D2 for my sister, my youngest son asked me to make him a Jango Fett. In order to do that, I needed to make a pattern for a person. I decided to make a Princess Leia as I figured out the pattern since she wasn't as involved as Jango would be. I tried to come up with different options for the pattern (like short sleeves, shorts, socks, etc) as I went. I made some changes to the pattern after I made this one (like the hair) and her boots should be white and hood split in the back, but here are some in progress pictures.

Amigurumi R2D2

The other week, I was at my knitting group and planned on working on the color graph for a BB8 hat. I realized that I didn't have enough information to know where the color areas overlapped, so I decided to design a little R2D2 for my sister's birthday instead. I wanted to make his dome (head) jointed, so I used one of the safety eyes I use for the bodies of my clay dolls. It was a really tight squeeze to get the washer to lock on.

R2's pieces. I was going to use the cardboard disks under the "joint" to keep it flat, but it wouldn't lock with the extra thickness

His "decorations" are quite simplistic
