My Thoughts
I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved Lis and Ansgar and their desire for the best for the kingdom. I found the book to be well written and with a nice flow. I held my breath in several spots wondering what going to happen. I enjoy the twists of familiar fairy tales in this series and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Jody Hedlund is the author of over thirty historicals for both adults and teens and is the winner of numerous awards including the Christy, Carol, and Christian Book Award. Jody lives in central Michigan with her husband, five busy children, and five spoiled cats.
