For two best friends,
marriage could be their greatest test yet…
Trinity Davis must not have heard firefighter Omar Young correctly. Did her handsome widowed best friend just suggest they get married? Omar needs a mom for his adorable little girls, and it’ll fix Trinity’s financial woes. But saying “I do” isn’t just business. Especially when the only vow they’re in danger of breaking is their promise to not fall in love…
I enjoyed reading "An Unlikely Proposal". It was a fun take on the 'marriage of convenience' trope and also was a 'friends to lovers' story as well. It was a good fit for how a marriage of convenience could be possible in the modern era. I liked Omar and Trinity and felt like they were friends. I liked that life with the toddlers wasn't all sunshine and roses. It was bumpy and it was real. So many times when books include kids everything just goes along swimmingly and that is just not how real life works most of the time (don't I wish it did!) I loved the biblical faith thread woven through the story. I look forward to reading more books from Toni Shiloh.
