I usually try and have birthday parties on the Sunday closest to the actual birth date. This year, my parents were going to be gone on a cruise, so I had Will's party on the 6th. We had another family "party" for him on his actual birthday.

William wanted "turkeys and Pilgrim hats" for his snack for school. We had done them for when he was in Kindergarten, but this year, we did a different kind of turkey.
