My Thoughts

Erica Vetsch books are always "must read" books for me. I found this book to be well written. It was also easy to read and flowed well for me. I enjoyed being able to read the next book in the Of Cloaks and Daggers series. The biblical faith element was woven through the book nicely. Any difficult subject was handled carefully. It was intriguing reading and trying to figure out what was going on and solving who is behind the plot. I look forward to reading the next book in this series as well as other books by Erica Vetsch.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed reading this book. I found it to be well written and nicely paced. I love these partnership/co-authored book series that Sunrise Publishing does. I haven't read all of the connected stories, but I can tell by the mentions in Burning Hearts, that there are stories behind some of the characters in this book. For those who've read those stories, it is fun to see familiar faces and catch up on their lives a little bit. There is a nice biblical faith thread woven through the book and the characters grew and changed. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

My Thoughts

I found this book to be well written. It had some difficult subjects and some twisted, evil characters, but there was a light and good as well. Evil didn't get the last word. I wanted to keep reading and to read faster so I could know what was happening and who the "then" passages were about. I would think I had something figured out and then there would come a twist and I was completely wrong! The biblical faith thread wasn't as easy to see as in some books, but it was there and Charlotte learned it wasn't just "heirloom" but "faith". I look forward to reading more books by Jessica R. Patch.

My Thoughts 

I enjoyed reading this book and seeing Juliet get her happily ever after. It was fun to see some of the characters that we met in the previous books in the series and see where they were now. Livy and Tabitha were fun and quirky characters that added interest to the story. I liked Juliet and her straightforwardness but also her desire to learn new things. It was interesting seeing Henry discover himself when he didn't even know who he was. There is a nice biblical faith element woven through the story and the characters learned lessons and grew and changed. I look forward to reading more books by Patti Stockdale.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed reading this book (and the whole series). It is definitely a romantic comedy, but there are also deep truths given throughout the book as well. The characters are flawed and we get to see them grow and change. I found the book to be well written and easy to read. I didn’t want to put it down once I started and read when I should have been sleeping. I love the quotes at the beginnings of the chapters. They are fun little insights into love. It was fun to see Kai and Gemma again and their significant others. I look forward to reading more books by Angela Ruth Strong.
