The Boys' Room!

I got the Boys' Room finished and ready for Andrew to be born!

I made the cushion covers,

diaper stacker,

and curtains

to match the quilt my mom made for Andrew.

Here is a close up of the main fabric.

I didn't have a mobile until my mom found this "antique" that my grandma had used for one of my aunts. I need to alter it a little, though, as it is too close to the mattress!

Painting

We painted William's room last week to turn it into the Boys' Room! Andrew's baby quilt made by Grandma is done with Mother Goose nursery rhymes, so we went with bright crayon colors (can't say primary colors, since green isn't a primary color!) This is the first time that the room isn't going to be only for the new baby, but will be shared with an older sibling.

This it what it looks like so far. I still need to put up the crib and make a diaper stacker and a few other little things.

William's Nursery

I finished William's room! The sponge painting technique doesn't show up very well, so look here to see it better.

I made the cushion covers,

curtains,

and mobile

to match the baby quilt my mom made. Well, actually the whole nursery was geared around it!
