Announcement

If you haven't figured it out from the 7 or 8 different tickers on my sidebar....we are having another baby! We are due August 15, 2009, a week after our 11th anniversary!

The Box is as Good as the Present

The kids found an empty box that I had some gifts hidden in before I wrapped them. They had great fun playing with it before and after the gifts were opened!

Extended Family Christmas Gathering

We got together at my brother's house for our extended family Christmas yesterday.

The girls were glad for an opportunity to hold Julia again!

Clay Dragon

I had this Sculpey from a project where I tried to make a tatting shuttle (it didn't work!). I decided to try and make a dragon for Dan.

I forgot to take a picture of the 2 colors after I had conditioned them, but here are the 2 swirled together.

I made this little laying dragon.

I wasn't sure how to make his wings look right folded up.

I baked him for about 45 minutes.

Snow Drifts

We got hit with another snowstorm Sunday with blowing and drifting snow.

Our poor bushes don't look too beautiful all smushed down with snow!

Here you can see the "moat" around the bush

The sidewalk and porch were cleaned off the night before!

This is snow hanging off the junction of the roof to the 3 season porch and the house.

Christmas Ornaments

The girls painted ornament/sun catchers for their Sunday School teachers. Unfortunately, we got a snowstorm and church was cancelled, so they'll have to give them to them next week.
