TIAS - Day Nine
Here is my TIAS after Day 9. Still not looking like much this way.
But if you turn it this way, it looks like the start of a train engine:

TIAS - Day Six
I'm not sure how many more days are left in the TIAS, but we still have at least the 2 free picots on the "flower" motif to join to!

TIAS - Day One
I am participating in a TIAS (Tat It And See) where a small portion of the pattern is revealed each day until the whole project is finished. The patterns are given here and you can look here to see other people's progress on their TIAS. I am using some of the thread that I hand dyed.

I Found a Mistake :(
When I was doing Day 9 of my TIAS, I realized that I had a mistake (I couldn't join where I was supposed to!)

I had to pick out 102 double stitches, including 2 rings and 5 lock joins (neither of which are easy to do!)
The arrows are pointing at the same spot on my light pink part to show where the mistake was!

TIAS Day 3 & 4

Here are my TIAS projects up through Day 4. It makes me think of a candle and Dan said it looked like Baby Jesus in the manger.

Tatting Again!
I have seen some T.I.A.S tatting projects, which is where you "Tat It And See". So you don't know what you are tatting, just are given a set of directions for that day and you tat it. When TIAS #4 started, I decided to tat along!
We were told we needed 3 colors of thread, a dark, a medium, and a light. I decided to go with 3 shades of the same color. I had several pairs of a color, but only the 3 pinks. These are Altin Basak.
Emily pushed out the labels, so I don't know which color is which number!

I saw these threads when I was looking for my 3 shades of a single color and as they are all the same brand/size of thread (Venus size 40) I decided to make a 2nd TIAS project with them at the same time!

I decided to use the yellow, green, and blue

Here are my 2 projects up to Day 2. Sarah said that they were bird cages! Then she said they were walkers (for Grandpa to walk with) and then said, "No, they're bird cages!
