My Thoughts

I have read a few books by Colleen Coble in the past, but not any suspense books. This book wowed me. I was not able to figure out what was going on or who was behind it. I usually figure out the "whodunit" pretty early on. I did end up figuring out the general reason behind the incidents, but not the specifics until it unfolded in the book. The book had a spiritual thread through it and the characters experienced growth and maturation. The story is told from the viewpoint of the main characters Ridge and Harper as well as a couple other secondary characters. There are also excerpts from Lisa Taylor and Judy Russo from the past. A few characters were mentioned in a way that made me think they might be characters from other books and it appears they are from the Hope Beach series. I look forward to reading more books by Colleen Coble.
