Gotta Love the Department of Transportation!

The main road near our house has been under construction for over a month. It really needed it, too, as it was very worn and pot hole filled. Most of the pot holes happened around the rectangular cutouts they made in the road soon after it was repaved previously. This time around, they dug deep trenches and put in big tubes of concrete (for drains) and some sort of bendable tube that looked like the hose from a vacuum. They finally put on a layer of asphalt and then about 4 days later, they cut 4 HUGE holes in it again! They dug around some more and then put a layer of asphalt over the holes again! At least they cut the holes before they had the final layer of asphalt on!
