My Thoughts
I enjoyed reading this book. It was fun to see familiar characters from previous books and get a little update on their lives and hang out with them again. I was also glad to get to know Beth better and see what made her tick. I found the book to be well written and easy to read. It had a nice pace and flow. Being back in Deep Haven was also a treat. The characters were realistic and believable. I liked watching them fall in love with each other. I look forward to reading more books in this series as well as other books written by Rachel D. Russell.
About the Author
Rachel D. Russell is a member of Oregon Christian Writers, My Book Therapy’s Novel Academy, and is a regular contributor to the Learn How to Write a Novel blog. When Rachel’s not cheering on one of her two teens at sporting events, she’s often interrogating her husband on his own military and law enforcement experience to craft believable heroes in uniform. The rest of her time is spent cantering her horse down the Oregon trails and redirecting her three keyboard-hogging cats.
