Astrid accepts the arrangement even though she’s reluctant to be in a sham relationship with a man who’d once broken her heart. She tries to keep herself from falling for Logan again but soon finds herself getting much more than she bargained for. With the clock ticking for both of them, can they commit to real love before it’s too late?
My Thoughts
I enjoyed reading this book. It is the first book in the Colorado Cowgirls series, but it is tied to the Colorado Cowboys series where we first get to know Astrid. Several of the characters from the Cowboys series appear in this book. The romance happens fast in the book, but Astrid and Logan knew and liked each other before so it was more of a rekindled romance. There isn't much of a biblical faith thread. The characters grew through the book. While they only ever kiss, there is mention of the passions that they feel which gives it a little sizzle. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
