Book Review: "Eye to Eye" by Vanita Oelschlager

I got a free adobe reader copy of "Eye to Eye" by Vanita Oelschlager from netgalley.com.  "Eye to Eye" is a really fun book for kids aged 4-10 (I enjoyed it, too!)  It gives common idioms/figures of speech that involve body parts ("all ears" for instance) and illustrates it.  The actual meaning of the phrase, as well as it's usage in a sentence, is given at the bottom of the page.  The illustrations are colorful and fun.  My daughter was just studying idioms in school and she really enjoyed this book.  I would recommend this fun book to those with elementary aged kids.

You can buy "Eye to Eye" in paperback (list price $8.95) or hardcover (list price $15.95) formats.
