Jake and Tarina discover a new partner wants to join them. He’s the Finder, and no felon can hide from him. The only problem is that the Finder only gives them confusing clues—or sets them up to stumble on the criminals in action. He does things in unpredictable ways each time, so they never know what to expect.

Soon they are in over their heads. Tragedies happen, leaving them confused. Can they handle working with the Finder? Most of all, can they trust him?

Author Interview 

1. Do you consider yourself a plotter or a pantser (or a hybrid)? Panster definitely. I have a couple of main plot
points I want to write about, but everything else comes to me as I write. I pray for inspiration, and I’m always
surprised by the plot twists that pop in my head from the Lord! He’s the best storyteller. Writing is so enjoyable
for me, even the hard work.

2. What is your favorite part about writing? I love to be completely immersed in my characters and their
adventures. It’s a total escape for me.

3. Do you have a way to keep track of your story ideas? If I’m writing a story, and an idea comes to me, it will
stick with me until I write it. I can’t forget it. My mind holds every idea until I have time to explore it.

4. What is your work schedule/routine when you write? I typically write late at night when no one will bother
me. I need to have complete concentration when I write. During the days, I’m editing, teaching editing, and
doing another job. Editing and writing require two completely different mindsets, so I have to completely switch
gears mentally to write. I need both a break from work and uninterrupted quiet to focus on writing my stories.

5. Do bits of yourself/friends show up in your characters? Absolutely! I gave my heroine Tarina synesthesia
and spiritual gifts since I have both. Readers have been fascinated by the way she experiences life. Also,
many situations in all my books are based on my real experiences.

About the Author

LR Strong is a writer, editor, singer, songwriter, photographer, and people watcher. Her life is colored by synesthesia, and she views others through the lens of spiritual gifts. She’s equally creative and cerebral—her first career was computer programming. Her deepest loves are Jesus, family, friends, and her three delightful rescue cats. And eating dark chocolate while reading a riveting book.
