Danish Kingdom Playground

We took the kids to the "Danish Kingdom" a community playground in our town.

Digging

This is how William spent his time at the playground!

Great explorers.

Climbing up,

Sarah sliding down,

and....

Emily sliding down.

Looking pretty.

All tuckered out.

I thought it was cute how both girls were hugging their dolls!

Tie-Dye Fun!

We decided to do some tie-dyed shirts. We got a kit from Meijer and got to work. We ended up needing to get another kit as we ran out of dye!

This is when we were waiting for Dan to get back with more dye.

After the dye-ing was done, we wrapped the shirts in plastic wrap and let them sit for 8+ hours (I didn't get them all washed before bed and finished in the morning!)

Dan's shirts.

My shirts

Sarah's shirts

Emily's shirts

William's onesies

The heart detail doesn't show up in the group picture so I took a close-up of them.

Here we are wearing our shirts!

Danish Festival 2008

It was that time of year again....Danish Festival! This year, we spent most of the weekend at the Veteran's Park Marketplace (ie flea market).

Rest time!

Emily resting (she fell asleep a little later)

Sarah resting.

William sleeping under the table.

Sarah on the inflatable slide. Emily wouldn't do the inflatable things this year.

Sarah bouncing.

Craft time!

Picnic in the park.

Garden Produce

My garden isn't doing so great this year. I haven't been able to get out and tend to it as well as I should and things are just not growing well anyway. We did get some veggies, though, and here is a picture of the first ones!

Garage Sale Find

The kids and I enjoy going to garage/yard sales and finding bargains. Here is one of our latest good deals! We got this batch of Lego Duplo Primo bricks for $2. There are 49 of them, plus 12 Mega Blocks!

Socks, Socks, Socks!

I got the socks done for the girls (finally). They are all very different! I thought it was interesting that Sarah's cuffs ended up the same even though the socks themselves are quite different.
